Happy 7th Anniversary

Given that we got married on the coldest day of the year 7 years ago, we had an absolutely beautiful day to celebrate this year!!!

The grandparents kept the girls this past weekend so we actually had 2 days to ourselves!  We went to a nice dinner at the Red Pony in downtown Franklin.  I highly recommend eating there at least once.  We will be going back!  On Saturday morning, we headed out to see American Sniper.  It was a very sobering, but very amazing movie.  It was a very nice weekend!

Today couldn't have been any better!  Since our anniversary fell on a holiday, Nate had off work today so we got to spend the day as a family.  We headed out to the park on this beautiful day and played for a little bit.  Monkey is getting more confident and it is fun to watch her play.  Lil Bit enjoyed seeing everyone at the park, but wasn't sure how she felt about the swing today.  Sweet girl white knuckled the swing the whole time she was in there!

We headed home to eat and take naps.  When they woke up, we headed back outside to spend a little more time in the beautiful weather before the sun went down.

We came in to eat dinner.  I set the table with candles and even made some dessert.  We all celebrated at dinner tonight!  After dinner, we all enjoyed dessert (Lil Bit really enjoyed her cookie!) and watched our wedding video.  Monkey loved watching mommy be a princess and it was fun to share that day with her.

What a wonderful way to end the celebration today.  We are quite blessed!  The Lord has blessed me with a man that loves me through my crazy, shows our girls what they should look for, he still makes me laugh everyday and is my best friend.

Happy Anniversary Babe!
