Lil Bit is 10 Months Old!

It's hard for me to believe that she will be 1 in just 2 months.  I'm really relishing each month right now because they don't stay little for long.
She is a HANDFUL right now!  She does not stop moving - EVER.  She wiggles when she is in your arms and once you put her down, she takes off crawling everywhere.  She even moves everywhere in her bed while she is sleeping.  She is one active child.
She has many faces right now - this is her I'm So Excited face.  It just started a few days ago and might be my favorite!
She is still such a happy baby.  I always thought that Monkey was happy and she was, but she was more content most of the time.  Lil Bit is just plain happy all the time (unless she is tired or hungry!).  She has the greatest smile.  I tried to capture it today, but she was too busy to smile at me!
She still loves to eat.  Her favorites remain to be avocado, blackberries, and clementines.  She eats lots of other foods, but she will dance in her high chair if she sees one of those things on the plate.
She still only has 2 bottom teeth.  It is taking FOREVER for her teeth to come in.  And we thought that Monkey was slow.  She drools enough that she should have 10 teeth by now, but oh well!
This...CONSTANTLY moving!!!
She still loves Lucie and tries her hardest to get to her whenever she comes into a room.
Still too busy for reading.  I read to Monkey and she will listen from afar sometimes.  She will sometimes look at a book but it's on her own terms.  She will NOT sit still to listen to one.
She loves music.  She starts moving as soon as she hears it.  She will clap her hands or even rock back and forth.
Loves her pacis.  Still sleeps with about 10 in her bed.  With the extra bumper we put in place she doesn't try to throw them out as often.  Most of time you catch her with a lovey tucked up under her while she is sleeping.
Can't do laundry with this one anymore.  She only wants to empty the laundry basket!
She is still a pretty good sleeper.  Most evenings she will wake up between 1 and 3 and usually just talk or play and then she falls back asleep.  She still takes 2 naps a day and I see that lasting for a little while longer.
This is her new favorite pose.  She doesn't care anything about standing on her feet, she only wants to move, but she will balance on one foot like this.
She is starting to talk a little more.  She has finally started saying the sound MaMa, but it's still not in reference to me.  She will babble, but most of the time she is quiet.  She gets really loud when it comes to needing attention and needing food.  If you can't get the food to her fast enough she puts her hands in fists and shakes her whole body out of frustration.  It's pretty funny.
She plays with her tongue like it's a toy.  It's like she thinks that she can actually remove it from her mouth.  I love watching her try. She smiles sticking her tongue out and then tries to get it.
Excited face again!
Oh baby girl - the light that you add to our family is so bright!  We love you and are so glad that God chose to give you to us.
