Christmas Morning

Just now getting around to updating Christmas again!  Christmas morning was fun with 2 in the house, but our eldest is a very subdued present opener.  (I think she might get that from me - sorry kid!)  We video taped most of the beginning of the present opening and when I figure out how to get the video on my Chromebook I will post it.  I caught some pictures when all the opening was done and they were playing with their toys.

Her big gift this year was her princess castle that plays songs and each princess talks.  She loves it and it was funny bc Lil Bit figured out how to work it pretty quickly and played with it for a long time too.
Santa brought their stockings this year and left some chocolate in there that she of course wanted to eat immediately!  She enjoyed that present while playing with the rest.

One of her favorite toys was her nesting cups.  She loves banging toys together right now and these were perfect for that!
At the beginning of December we went to paint pottery with her cousins and Nate and I made these plates for the girls.  We are starting a tradition of Christmas morning pancakes and we made these for them eat on each Christmas morning.  (I'm sure we will update them in years to come!)
Monkey actually ate her pancakes.  Chocolate chip with peanut butter - no syrup.  And of course chocolate milk.
Lil Bit got plain pancakes, but she did get to eat a little syrup on hers and she loved them!
She got this bounce and ride elephant.  She enjoyed figuring it out and even started bouncing on it a little bit.
She was mesmerized by the bouncy bug on the top.
Her other favorite present was her Anna dress.  She wore it until it was time to take a nap.  She opened it and hugged it and said "Oh, I have always wanted one of these!".
It was a great morning.  We feel blessed to be able to wake up in our own home and celebrate with our little family on Christmas morning.  Making some traditions and memories together that I hope will last!
