Thanksgiving

We had a wonderful Thanksgiving - our first as a family of 5.  It took a little more planning to get places and we had to carry a few more things, but we survived and had a great weekend!  It's amazing how 3 1/2 years in between kids can make you forget what you had to do for a baby!

Thanksgiving morning we woke up and the girls LOVED watching the parade for the first year!  I have always tried to get them to watch it, but they have never really been interested.  This year was the year! We spent Thanksgiving day with my side of the family.  We went to my Aunt's house and enjoyed a yummy lunch and a relaxing afternoon.  We played a few games and the cousins played together while Pumpkin got spoiled by everyone holding her!  It's funny - I'm not sure I really held her or fed her during the day for 2 days.  Lots of willing hands to take over the job!

On Friday, we headed over to Nate's parents' house and celebrated with his side of the family.  We got to spend time with cousins and Great Aunts and Uncles and enjoyed some more yummy food.  It was actually another day of relaxing as well!

It was a nice low key holiday for our first one.  I forgot how much I really do enjoy having a new baby during the holidays.  It makes it fun!
