Opryland

During the Christmas season, we have some traditions with the grandparents.  We usually go to Opryland with my parents and go to Cheekwood to see the lights with Nate's parents.  Unfortunately, this year, we were not able to go to Cheekwood because Pumpkin was too little and it would have been too cold.  But we did get to go to Opryland with Pop and JuJu.  This year was a little different, they seemed to have more in the hotel for us to do and see.  The girls enjoyed seeing the lights and decorations.  Lil Bit was looking forward to the dancing waters and we got to see those for a little while.  They had something new this year in the conference center area.  They had an area with an indoor ice skating rink and we got to watch an ice skating show.  The girls loved it!  It's so funny that the decorations don't ever really change, but it is still so fun to go each year.  It's been kind of an unspoken Christmas tradition in my family for quite a long time now.  My grandmother loved to go and walk around each year on Christmas.  We thought of her this year while we were there since this was our first year without her.
