Well, our New Year's Baby turned 1 today. She is no longer a puppy; they grow up so fast! :) I couldn't resist putting her in the hat - she actually kept it on a lot longer than I thought she would, but she did not want to take a picture.

And of course we had to get her some presents! We got her some doggy pastries - she enjoyed her "cinnamon roll" this morning and will enjoy her "bread twists" tonight after dinner. We got her another knot ball on a rope - it won't be long before it's completely in shreds, but it's one of her favorite toys. And we had to get her the hippo because it was the first toy we ever bought her. She kept the original for a long time until she finally destroyed it. The second one - already destroyed. She's getting quicker in her old age!
And along with Happy Birthday I must say - Happy New Year to everyone! We enjoyed ringing the new year in with our friends last night at Ben and Kim's house. We ate yummy BBQ that Nate smoked and yummy sides and dessert from everyone else. We played lots of CatchPhrase and just enjoyed being with one another.
